The Murphy sweet corn crew was absolutely amazing! Thank you to everyone who helped pick, shuck, cut, and cook the corn. The folks enjoying it at our fall dinner will definitely appreciate that fresh, homegrown flavor! 🌽

And thank you to everyone who helped organize and prepare the fellowship hall for Geri Mangelsen’s funeral. It was truly amazing to see everyone pitch in, work together, and make it all happen. That is what makes our church family so special. ❤️

Mary is recovering at Burnett Medical Center in Grantsburg, and Pete is recovering at home. Both are missed by their church family and are looking forward to the day they can return to worship with us, where they belong.

Please continue to pray for their healing, strength, comfort, and a quick return home and back to church. We miss you both and can’t wait to see you.

Today we joyfully welcome Deacon Scott Burns to our parish! 🙏

We invite family and friends to join us as we gather to honor and celebrate the life of our beloved Grandma, Mom, Sister, Auntie, Great-Grandma, Cousin, and Friend. ❤️

Visitation:

Funeral Service:
🕚 11:00 AM

Burial will follow the funeral service.

Afterward, a luncheon will be served as we come together to share memories, stories, love, and comfort with one another.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed for our family, shared memories, and surrounded us with love during this difficult time. Geri was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can say. 🤍

Please keep the family of Geraldine “Geri” Mangelsen close to your hearts and in your prayers. Geri passed away today and went home to be with the Lord.

We can only imagine the beautiful reunion Geri and her husband, Andy, are having in Heaven—together again.

Geri’s visitation will be this Saturday, the 29th, at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Georgetown Lutheran Church. Burial will follow, with a luncheon afterward.

Please keep Kim, Renee, and their families especially close in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother. May the Lord surround them with His love, wrap them in His peace, and give them strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Geri. Until we meet again.
