We celebrated our 2nd annual indoor barbeque today! Grilling outside, serving and eating inside! The weather cooperated and the grillmasters didn't get rained on! Shrimp, bratwurst, and the standard burgers and dogs. Good gathering and food!

Join us this coming Sunday, September 27th, after the 9 am service for a potluck barbeque! Burgers, brats, dogs, and lots of wonderful sides and desserts! All are welcome!

This is the third in a series Todd has going! First was "think it's hot now", then it was "think it's dry now", and now, in reference to the Canadian wildfires, we're at smoky. Keeping the cars on Rte 9 entertained! Is there another in the series? Stayed tuned.

Rick, Mike, and Bill rehung the attic access stairs to make them more safe and secure, with Rick leading the charge! Next month we will reinstall the trim and touch up paint the ceiling. A lot of work but it got done! Meanwhile the Teri and Terri cleaning company (Fredericksen and Smith) got all the general cleaning and vacuuming done! Thanks to all who helped out.

Three man workday this morning. While Bill cleaned bathrooms and painted column bases outside, Rick and Mike addressed structural issues with our attic access stairs. This will require what we called in the Navy a "tiger team" of 3-4 guys to remove and reinstall the stairs to make them safe.
