Saturday was our monthly visit to Lindside Healthcare Center. Since it was fair week we decided to play games and win prizes. We had a good time singing, playing games and having a snack. If you have some spare time go for a visit and you will enjoy it as much as the residents.

There will be no evening services Aug 9th at our church. Instead we will be attending the tent revival at Ballard Christian School at 7pm as Tim Spencer will be the speaker for the evening. .

Night 5 of VBS and the final night. We had a wonderful week of Bible lessons, crafts , games and food. VBS helps to teach the youth about Jesus and plant the seeds for further growth. A big thank you to everyone who played a part in our VBS. Once again we combined with Ballard Baptist Church and Thompson's Chapel for VBS and we appreciate all their help. Thank you to the workers, the parents who brought their children, Ballard Fire Department for providing us with water for water night and Johnny Spangler for letting us use his barrel rides. But most of all we are thankful for the Lord who made our VBS the success it was. Looking forward to next years VBS.
