We’re starting a new series today as we begin the book (letter) of 1 Peter. Everyone experiences pressure. What sets us apart is how we handle it. Following Jesus calls for us to handle it with His grace and perseverance. This is going to be a great journey so join us today and each Sunday and bring someone with you!

Youth Group GRAND OPENING NIGHT is June 17th!!

This is the first Youth Group for the 5th graders going into 6th grade in the fall so they are VIPs for the night! It is going to be a lot of fun and is going to set the tone Spiritually for our VIPs!

So if you are a upcoming 6th grader, a regular at Youth Group, or maybe a student that wants to join, out on your funniest, fanciest, or funkiest outfit, bring a friend, and walk the red carpet at Grand Opening Night!!

Men of Worden! Man Day will be on Saturday, June 20 at 5 pm. We want you there! This is for all guys junior high and up. Just think: smoked meat, live country music and a mechanical bull. How can this evening not be a blast! Even if you just want to come and watch. Please sign up soon at the church information desk. Cost is $20 each, but free for those 18 and under.

Some of the power is out at the church building this morning, but don’t let that keep you from coming! We’re going to meet wherever we can for Bible study and in the fellowship hall for worship. We actually have some power in there. So don’t stay home! Join us! God has something special in store!
