The Table

The Table The Table is a new faith community just outside Baton Rouge in the City of Central. We meet at Blackwater UMC, in the North Building.

We want to inspire people to be authentic followers of Jesus through shared tables and open conversation. Our Mission & Vision:

The Table is an open space for people to know Jesus. We live out this mission by equipping our people to make an impact where they live, work, and play. We believe the church is meant to be so much more than an hour on Sunday so our goal is to have every area of our live

s experience the goodness of God because someone from our community was there. Whether that is the lunch table at work, our neighborhoods, or where we work out, we believe Jesus followers should be the reason our every day people and places get a glimpse of heaven on earth. Our Story:

With a launch team of about 40 people, The Table launched our strategy for being an open space for people to know Jesus on March 10, 2019 at Blackwater United Methodist. Since then, we have continued to grow as followers of Jesus and as a faith community, despite being shut down exactly one year later because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
