Today, we pause to remember.
Not just a long weekend, not just the start of summer — but the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At Baker Community Church, we honor the sacrifice of those who never made it home, and we pray for the families who carry both pride and loss every day.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May we never take freedom for granted.
May we live lives worthy of the sacrifice made for us.
And may God continue to bless our communities, our servicemen and women, and this nation.

In seasons of uncertainty and drought, we lean on faith, community, and the hope that God provides. We invite farmers, ranchers, families, and all members of our community to gather with us as we pray for rain, strength, and guidance.

“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime.” — Zechariah 10:1

Just like the 4 seasons, the church has seasons too—each one meaningful in its own way.

So we want to hear from YOU…

What is your favorite season of the church—and why?

1️⃣ Advent – the quiet waiting, the hope, the anticipation of what’s to come
2️⃣ Christmas – the joy, the light, the celebration of Christ’s birth
3️⃣ Lent – the slowing down, the reflection, the drawing near to God

This Sunday, we celebrate something incredibly important—our Sunday School kids.

They aren’t just the future of our church… they are the beginning of it.
Every story learned, every question asked, every prayer whispered—those are the roots being planted today for a strong faith tomorrow.

To our teachers, helpers, and parents—thank you for showing up, pouring in, and guiding these young hearts. Your time and love matter more than you know.

And to our kids—keep asking, keep learning, keep growing. We are so proud of you.
