Some days you wake up and joy feels like a foreign language.

The circumstances don't cooperate.
The news is heavy.
The to-do list is longer than your energy.

And yet — Psalm 100 opens with "shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth." Not whisper politely. Shout.

The reason joy is a command and not just a feeling is that it's actually available to us regardless of what's happening around us.

Not because we pretend everything is fine. Because God is faithful — yesterday, today, and in whatever's coming next.

That's worth something.
