Happy Labor Day, church family! We love you and pray that you're enjoying this holiday with those you love. Give yourself permission to rest today, remembering that God has blessed us with His supernatural peace and rest. Even if your day is busy, you can still find rest in your soul, knowing that Jesus loves you and believed you were worth the His sacrifice on the cross!! Many blessings!

We are excited to continue this awesome series from the book of Daniel. The “Countercultural Life” is the life that Daniel lived. As believers we are living in a culture that does not agree with our God’s ways. Like Daniel, we can “purpose in our heart” to shine the light of JESUS!

Church family, please pray for the family and fire department who has lost this man of God!

Yesterday, our Champions family received heartbreaking news. One of our pastoral leadership team, Hector Cruz, was tragically killed in a car accident while faithfully serving as a chaplain with the Polk County Fire Department.

Hector was deeply loved by our Champions family. His life, his faith, and his heart to serve others impacted so many, and we are grieving deeply alongside those who loved him.

Yet even through our tears, we hold onto the hope we have in Jesus. We can only imagine what that moment must have been like as Hector stepped from this life into eternity and came face-to-face with the One he loved and faithfully served. ❤️

Please join us in praying for Nidia, their family, and everyone who knew and loved Hector. May they experience the comfort, peace, and presence of Jesus in a profound way during this incredibly difficult time.

Now that summer is over we are excited to bring back our Men’s and Women’s monthly ministries! Ladies come join us tomorrow morning at 10:00am in Staten Hall! We would love to fellowship with you!

Please keep our very good friends Pastor Spencer and Sarah Green in your prayers. Navigating through a loss of this nature, still standing, still loving, still leading when you are in pain is one of the hardest parts of pastoring. As a Church we want to keep Story Church lifted in our prayers!
