We were never meant to walk this journey alone. God designed us for community—to uplift, encourage, and spur one another on in faith and love. When we gather together, we strengthen each other. Who can you encourage today?

From uplifting praise and worship to beautiful special music, this past Sabbath was filled with moments of celebration, gratitude, and faith.

We had the joy of recognizing Mrs. Liliana Sanchez, Walker Memorial Academy’s very own 2nd grade teacher, for being named the Highlander Educator of the Year. We are grateful for her 11 years of dedication, love, and service to her students and our school community.

Brother Al Harmon also shared a deeply moving testimony of divine intervention and God’s faithfulness through life’s unexpected journeys and difficult trials. His story was a powerful reminder that even when we don’t understand the road ahead, our hope remains in God alone.

It was a beautiful Sabbath shared together.

Clear the path for where He is leading you next. 🌲☀️✨

As we close out this month and step into a new season, Sabbath gives us the space to recalibrate. Resting in God today allows us to look back with gratitude and move forward onto His path with trust and peace.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

Sabbath Recap | You Belong 🤍

This Sabbath was a beautiful reminder of what it means to belong to the family of God.

From worship and special music to our Children’s Ministry choir lifting their voices in praise, it was a beautiful morning of worship together. We also had the joy of celebrating with Craig as he publicly gave his life to Christ through baptism, followed by a timely message from Pastor Rodney, “You Belong.”

Through the thief on the cross, we were reminded that our past doesn’t put us beyond the reach of Jesus. When we turn to Him, He meets us with grace and the promise that there is a place for us in His Kingdom.

What a beautiful truth to not only hear, but to see reflected through baptism. 🤍
