Here is an EASY way to jump in and lend a helping hand with no commitment! If you enjoy Sunday breakfast, I've been thinking it would be a great way to bless the family who just cooked it, by cleaning up and doing the dishes for them! No invitation, or work schedule needed - just feel free to jump in! Keeping up with the food prep and service is such a blessing, it would be great to see other folks step in to clean up afterward!

Volunteer opportunities! If you missed the meeting Sunday, join Connie and Sarah after church this Sunday and we will go over this again in person. In the meantime, here is the rundown of the ministry opportunities we are covering with Connie stepping down from the church hostess position. Rather then continue with one person heading all of these areas we want to move to individuals/families heading them up!

I highlighted the covered positions with the name of the person who has volunteered. If you would like to head up an event that doesn't have a name by it - please let Sarah know! This does NOT mean you do everything - we just need someone to head up the event/position. You will be given a budget to work with as well. What we need are "go-to" people to organize and coordinate events.

Also, if you see an area that you would like to serve in, but not head-up please get with the person who is listed and let them know. They will be reaching out for volunteers!

Pam Weaver is also going to head up a meal train for when church family are sick, in the hospital etc. She will need people se can contact to help her cook food and take it to families when needed. So be watching for future info on that, and when your family has a need like this PLEASE REACH OUT to us or Pam so we can help you.

Anyone interested in ministry opportunities at Harvest join us tomorrow after church!

We will meet up to discuss the church calendar/events for the year! Connie is stepping down from "church mom" 😂 and moving to purely book keeping and being a helper! So we have some thoughts on how to move forward with covering events, kitchen management, etc. Everyone is invited to come and give feedback and help us sort out future plans.

With it being a holiday, we will probably do this meeting next Sunday as well 😜, but hopefully most people can stay for a bit tomorrow!

If you have been considering how to get more involved at Harvest, we have a great opportunity to share with you coming up! Please meet with Connie and Sarah after church on Sunday, May 24th for a rundown! We want to share some ideas for how we can get families and friend groups plugged in to the ministry opportunities we have. Sometimes, folks just don’t know what is even needed/available!

Everyone already signed up on the “event” and “kitchen” teams, please plan to stay. We really would love to see some new faces as well. We do a lot of outreach into the community and school and would love to share some ideas and hear YOUR ideas for how we can be effective and build a loving church family that is growing in discipleship and love for the Lord and each other.
