I wonder how many times while Noah was working on the big boat that he spent wondering if he was ridiculous. Moving ahead day after day in faithfulness when visibly, outwardly, there was no sign to those around that an ark would be needed.
Sometimes God asks you to do things nobody else can see or understand.
You will look a fool, maybe even feel a fool but God promises that if you are willing to be faithful in it, He'll show you something far greater than you can imagine.
When it comes to serving the Lord, it's only His opinion that matters. God is the only one we answer to.
Giving up our life was part of His plan. Prayer after prayer, step after step, choice after choice to fix our gaze on His Word over the feelings that want to flood us out, we float above the temporary turmoil.
What a blessing to know that right in the storm, we can rest.
