What's happening at Westminster this week:
Wednesday, March 25th, we have our Women's Rebekah Bible Study meeting in the church Parlor at 9:30am. Come for bible study, fellowship, and coffee! All ladies welcome.
At 5:30pm is our Men's Baked Potato Lenten Supper with all the fixins'! Just $5 per adult, $4 for kids or an entire family for just $15! We will have plenty of baked potatoes, chili, nacho cheese, broccoli, shredded cheese, sour cream, amongst other toppings! Come on down!
Following the meal at 6:20, is our Lenten Vespers Service with Rev. Bill Odermann.
Right after the Lenten Vespers Service, the Chancel Choir will rehearse in the Choir Loft.
On Thursday, March 26th, The Men's Bible Study will be meeting in the Parlor at 7:30am for a time of study, coffee, donuts, and fellowship. All men are welcome!
At 6pm, the Spirit Ringers Handbell Choir will rehearse in the Music Room.
On Friday, March 27th, our Youth will be meeting at Riverside Arena at 6:30pm to attend a Bruins game! Cost is $5 plus money for snacks. Please see Richard or Laura Carlson if you'd like to attend or have questions.
On Saturday, March 28th at 11:00am, we will be having the Memorial Worship Service for Keith Ogborn.
Sunday is Palm Sunday already! We will have Palm Branches for your children to wave and march around the Sanctuary with during the opening hymn. Pastor Bill Odermann will be preaching on “The Triumphal Entry” with scripture from Luke 19:28-44 and Zechariah 9:9-10. There will be a Baptism; the Westminster Strings will be playing, and the Chancel Choir and the Celebration Choir will be singing. Jim Jayes will be doing the Children's Sermon.
