THE ART OF FORGIVENESS β€” Week 2
Forgiven People Forgive People
TOMORROW @ 6PM

Last week we talked about what forgiveness is and what it isn't. This week, we're starting somewhere really important:

If you've trusted in what Christ has done for you, you have been forgiven completely. Just think on that for a moment.

Jesus has shown us forgiveness and grace that we could never earn for ourselves. And when you've experienced a life-changing forgiveness like that, it changes the way you forgive others.

We're opening Colossians 3:12–17 this Wednesday and talking about what it means to "clothe yourselves" with the character of Christ. What does that have to do with forgiveness?

Mr. Zack is bringing the message, and it looks like the forecast calls for a poncho... πŸ˜‚

THE ART OF FORGIVENESS β€” Week 1
Again and Again
WEDNESDAY @ 6PM

Forgiveness is hard... like for real.

But have you ever forgiven someone and they turn around and hurt you again? How do you deal with that? Jesus tells us to forgive again and again. But what does forgiveness actually look like at that point?

I think it would help if we start this series by talking about what forgiveness actually is, and what it isn't. Honestly, we can get that confused sometimes.

Jesus doesn't tell us to ignore the hurt or pretend the sin doesn't matter. But He still calls His disciples to forgive. So before we go any further, we're going to define forgiveness and give ourselves a starting point for the month.

This Wednesday, we're opening Luke 17:1–4 and starting a month-long conversation about what it really means to forgive.

πŸ”₯ UNFILTERED β€” Week 3 πŸ”₯
WEDNESDAY @ 6PM

β€œHow do you know the Bible is actually true?”
That's a reasonable question.

We believe that Scripture is the inspired Word of God, and that means we're not afraid to ask hard questions about it.

Does the Bible hold up to scrutiny?
Does it conflict with science?
How about history?
And what about its biggest claim of all, that Jesus really rose from the dead?

Those are questions worth asking. And best of all, there are real answers! Whether you already trust the Bible or aren't sure what you believe, it's worth finding out why we think Scripture can actually be trusted.

This Wednesday, Mr. Rob is laying out some of the evidence behind those answers. If you want to know more for yourself or to share with others, this week will be one you want to hear!

πŸ”₯ UNFILTERED β€” Week 2 πŸ”₯
WEDNESDAY @ 6PM

Everyone would like a fresh start. Nobody wants to die to get it.

But that's exactly the answer the Gospel gives us.

Jesus didn’t just tell us to follow rules, be a better person, or do good things. Jesus showed us love, and He came to bring us close to Him. He did this by putting our sin to death on the cross and giving us new life through His resurrection. Dead to sin. Alive in Christ.

That’s genuine transformation. β€œThe old has gone; behold, the new has come.” It's not about becoming a better person. It's about Christ making us new.

It’s an important truth for every Christian to understand, so we’re covering it this Wednesday as we read through Romans 6:1–14.
