ARM builds servant leaders through home repair ministry. We send out volunteers serving with struggling families and restore their homes to warm, safe, and dry.
(1)

We restore their hope in people and the Church. Come extend an ARM of Christ's love with us! Build more: servant leaders, sustainable homes and strong families for God's glory! ARM uses servant leadership and service-learning models as the main form of discipleship ministry which then helps families receive vital home repairs. The goal is to make their homes warm, safe, dry, and beautiful while sharing God's love and his Gospel. ARM provides serving learning opportunities for churches, youth groups, college teams, businesses, and other non-profits with home repair, housing, and children's activities and shows how and why poverty affects these families and want we can collectively do about it. Come and serve with us:

End of Day 5 and our new total is $33,390 towards our goal of $200,000. This will repair three homes. We get to finish Ms. Carr's drywall repair. It was damaged when rain from her roof leaked in. She is going through cancer treatments. It allows us to start Ms. C's roof. Finally, a floor in Mr. A's home is caving in. He is very rural, cannot drive, and is disabled. We need to repair this quickly. Type in the redirect link in the ARM picture to give or email [email protected] to make a pledge. Thanks and we'll see how tomorrow goes!

Day 4: No More Shacks-Psalm 147:3 is our focus scripture. For God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He does that through us. Our total is $18,711. A gift or pledge of $300 gets us to $19,000 and helps install sheetrock to a room.

What if we worked together to help make a home healthy and safe for our neighbor in need? I know Ms. O would be grateful for the handicap accessilble shower for her husband who is immobile from a stroke several years ago. She serves as his caregiver.

Next day to serve in home repair is Nov. 14

Grateful to No More Shacks and the end of Day 1! Raised $14,000 so far and thanks to the churches who are giving! A special shoutout to Mayor Ron Anders for dropping by this morning Remember, we all need our homes to be healthy: warm-safe-dry. God comforts the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We can do that for our neighbors!
