“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.” John 15:2
Time of reflection: Am I connected to the vine? (Jesus) What am ‘I’ doing to grow spiritually? If the answer is “nothing,” then perhaps we need to look at our trials and hardships with a different view. Rather than wondering why is this happening to me, we should ask, “What are you trying to teach me, God?”
It’s at that moment - after we’ve allowed God to walk us through those hardships, that we are shaped into something absolutely beautiful - a branch that is bearing more fruit! All glory to God!
