This Sunday, we continue exploring the letters of Revelation, and this week we hear two words from Jesus that are just as relevant today as they were 2,000 years ago:

“Wake up!”

Have you ever looked at your life and realized you’ve been going through the motions?

You get up. Go to work. Take care of everybody. Pay the bills. Handle the responsibilities. Get through another week. Repeat.

Everything may look fine from the outside—but inside, something feels like it’s missing.

That’s surprisingly close to what Jesus said to the church in Sardis. They had a reputation for being alive and doing well, but Jesus could see beneath the surface. He challenged them to wake up and strengthen what was still there.

Maybe we need that reminder too.

Are we really living—or have we just gotten really good at getting through the day?

Join Us for Worship This Sunday!

What does it really mean to love someone with the love of Jesus? Does loving someone mean we never challenge them, never speak difficult truths, or simply accept everything as it is?

This Sunday, we continue our journey through the churches of Revelation with Thyatira and discover why Jesus calls us to hold truth and love together. Grace welcomes us where we are—but Jesus loves us too much to leave us there.

Some days, just holding on takes faith.

We live in a world that constantly tells us we need to be bigger, stronger, more successful, more influential, and have everything figured out. But what if Jesus measures our lives differently?

This Sunday, we're looking at two churches in Revelation that didn't have much by the world's standards. One was suffering and struggling. The other had what Jesus called “little power.”

And yet Jesus didn't call them failures.

He called them faithful.

Maybe you're tired. Maybe life hasn't gone the way you expected. Maybe your faith has been tested. Maybe you feel like you don't have much left to give.

Jesus' message might be exactly what you need:

Hold on.

You don't have to have it all together. You don't have to be the strongest person in the room. You just have to keep holding on to the One who is holding on to you.

Join us this Sunday for HOLD ON: When Faith Is Tested, as we hear Jesus' words to Smyrna and Philadelphia in Revelation 2:8–11 and 3:7–13.

Sometimes faithfulness doesn't look impressive. Sometimes it simply looks like refusing to let go.
