Coxey Church of Christ

Coxey Church of Christ Coxey Church of Christ is located on U.S. 72 at New Cut Road. The congregation at Coxey was established in 1976. The current minister is Chris Olive.

The congregation met for a brief time in a building east of New Cut Road on U.S. 72. A parcel of property was purchased in 1977 across from the current location. That building was complete in 1978, and the congregation worshiped there 10 years. A building on the current site was built in 1988 and an addition was added in 2007. In April 2014, an EF3 tornado struck Limestone County and heavily damag

ed the church. A makeshift meeting room was created in the former fellowship room while the church was rebuilt. Men who taught the Gospel at Coxey were Barry Anderson, Jerry Johnson, Trice Dickson, Winfred Skinner, Raymond Bush, Jim Bowers and Daniel Ridinger.
