Church Family,

We just met with the doctor and received the pathology report from Dad's surgery.

The report showed no cancer in the tumor and no cancer in any of the lymph nodes that were removed. The doctor told us that he is cancer-free.

Dad is also doing very well from the surgery itself and is expected to go home today.

When this journey began, the scans indicated cancer, and we were preparing for a difficult road ahead. Today, we can say that God has answered prayer in a mighty way. While we are thankful for the doctors, nurses, and medical care, we know that this outcome is a direct answer to the many prayers that have been prayed by God's people.

Thank you for every prayer, every message, every visit, and every act of encouragement. Please continue to pray for Dad's recovery as he heals from surgery and regains his strength.

"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." — Psalm 103:2

To God be the glory!
Pastor, Johnathan

Update on Preacher:
Thank you all so much for the prayers today. Dad’s surgery went well this morning with no complications.
The doctor was pleased with how the surgery went and said he believes he was able to remove everything they were targeting.
He also said everything looked good to the naked eye during the procedure.
We do want to be careful not to get ahead of ourselves, because this does not mean there is no cancer, we will know much more on Friday when the pathology report comes back.

Please continue praying that there is no cancer in the lymph nodes and for a good report overall.
We are thankful for the Lord’s help today!

We are grateful for everyone that has been praying and for all those that showed up to pray today!

We are also grateful for everyone that has, called, and checked on our family.
We are overwhelmed by the goodness of God and his people!
