Hello, June. Hello, Sunshine. Hello, God’s goodness!

This month, we’re slowing down enough to notice the goodness of God in everyday places.

Not just in the big miracles…
but in the small reminders: a conversation, a sunset, a moment of peace, an answered prayer, a deep breath.

So instead of rushing through summer, let’s make it a month of paying attention to where God is moving around us.

We made a little “Spot God’s Goodness” scavenger hunt for June, and we would LOVE for you to play along with us this month.

Life isn't always easy. In fact, sometimes life is downright difficult. God is ok with us talking our problems through with Him.

When we lament to God, we aren't complaining. We are acknowledging that we know God is the one who can help us. We are trusting our Heavenly Father with our situation.

We'll all spend time in the valley. While we're there, let's remember to reach out to the one who can carry us through it. .....

Today we're excited to introduce:

💪 Do It Brave
Led by Shea Pirtle & Jeni Thrasher

“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

Fear is loud, but it doesn’t get the final say. This breakout session is about shifting our perspective and learning to move forward even when we feel unsure, overwhelmed, or afraid. Through Scripture and real-life encouragement, women will be reminded that bravery isn’t about having it all together—it’s about trusting God with the next step.

Brave faith isn’t reserved for people who never feel afraid. Fear is real, but it doesn’t get to take the lead. As daughters of the King, we don’t let fear run the direction of our lives. We choose faith right in the middle of the deceiving thoughts, the uncertain paths, and even our shaky knees. God is faithful to meet us in surrendered hearts and work through the smallest willing step in powerful ways.

As a mom, I'm used to tackling all of the household challenges. I love to take care of my family, and I know that God called me to be a wife and mother.

But being sick is something I really don't like. This mama has no time to be sick. There is too much to do! Then throw a wrenched shoulder into the mix, and things get really interesting. I'm forced to ask for help.

Why is it that we can be so good to help others, but struggle to ask for help when we need it? Our weakest moments give God a chance to shine through. They show us our need for God, and allow others to step in and serve, as God has placed on their hearts. They show us that we can still be on mission for Him, even in our weakest moments.

Sometimes we're confronted with weakness when God is calling us to something we don't feel qualified for. Even Moses felt weak when God asked Him to be a leader. But God gave him the words to speak. And He does the same for us.

God can take our biggest weaknesses and turn them into something that glorifies Him. We are weak, but He is strong. How much cooler is it when we accomplish something through God that we could never do on our own?

This week, look for moments to allow God to use your weakness. Then give Him the glory. .....

Jesus looked out for those who were less fortunate, oppressed and brokenhearted. As His followers, we should do the same.

Loving people well in their time of need requires action. Whether we are bringing a meal to someone after surgery, mowing the lawn of a widow or fostering a child, we can't sit idly. We must physically put in an effort.

In addition to the physical, we should also cover this person in prayer. God is close to the brokenhearted, and can comfort them in ways that we can't.

God loves justice, and we should strive to restore justice around us. We should always leave people and places in better shape than we found them. It's what Jesus would do.

Thank you, God for having a heart for others. Help me to have a heart like Yours and to step up and help those in need. Amen. .....

Pruning is so important. When a vine is pruned, the dead and diseased parts are cut away. This protects the rest of the vine, leaving room for new and fuller growth.

This is the same thing God does for us. When He cuts away the things in our life that are harmful to us, it leaves room for us to grow into our full potential and be more fruitful for Him.

Pruning isn't pretty. If you look at a vine that's been pruned, it looks stripped away, and may be hard to recognize. We may feel very uncomfortable when God prunes us and we begin to face the things He has taken away. But we must trust Him and His process.

Gardeners prune their plants in order to care for them in the very best way. God prunes us because He loves us. It may not be a fun process. Sometimes He even prunes things that we think are very beneficial to His Kingdom. But we need to understand that His pruning makes space for something better.

God, thank you for cutting away the things in my life that weigh me down and don't glorify you. Help me to understand that the pruning process is for my good, and the good of Your Kingdom. Amen......

The fear of the Lord isn't about being afraid of a big, scary God who wants to punish you. It's being amazed at God's creation when you look up and see a blanket of stars in the night sky. It's looking out at the vast and powerful ocean and feeling positively tiny. Fear of the Lord is a reverent respect for our Creator.

When we have this kind of respect for God, we go to Him when we need answers. We know that we can't do life on our own. We develop a hunger for His Word.

God created the Heavens and the Earth. But He also created you, friend. He wants you to know Him. He wants you to understand Him and the plans He has for your life.

So don't be afraid of Him. Be in awe......
