Knappa Assembly of God We are an Assembly of God Church called to love God, share Jesus, live in His power and grow as believers together.

We are a very simple, fundamental church that believes in teaching the Word of God in a spiritual authority with a balanced perspective. We believe that sound doctrine is a real need in the body of Christ today. One of our foremost goals as a corporate body is to provide a comfortable atmosphere in which you can grow in the knowledge of the Lord and meet other Christians with whom you can identify

. We believe and identify with the practices, lifestyle, and the doctrines of the early church. We hope, pray and believe that as the early members of the church touched their world for Jesus Christ, so can we. Our prayer is that this site will serve as a tool to share the great news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Join us for a 10-week study through Genesis and Exodus as we discover how the first books of the Bible tell one unified story of God's rescue plan. Together we'll see God's faithfulness, His covenant promises, and how every page points to Jesus. (Part 2 will continue our journey through Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy and will be taught in early 2027.)

The religious leaders were desperate to preserve the world they know. A world where thier authority and influence made them self important. So, they said to themselves "if Jesus dies our kingdom survives."
They sought the death of One to keep their Kingdom but, the death and resurrection of One established a better Kingdom that lasts forever.

Let us be the kind of people who respond to life's pressue with trust, not panic. When we are controlled by fear, fear and anger we often react. When we surrender to God we are allowing the Spirit to guide our lives so that we respond with wisdom patience and love.

John 18:1-27 Pressure reveals what is ruling our hearts. Are we going to react or respond. Today, we saw how Peter reacted out of fear and the religious leaders reacted out of self-preservation. Jesus responded, He perfectly trusted the Father. Reaction originated from our emotions, while responses come from the reasonimg part of our mind. How will we go through life: reacting or responding? How do we do that? We rely on the Holy Spirit who helps us bear fruit so we can respond under pressure (Galatians 5:22-23)?

Peter reacted in fear. The religious leaders reacted in self-preservation. Jesus responded in perfect trust.
