We as a founded NATION have arrived at a milestone of our Freedom, of hierarchy, persecution, and tyranny, founded upon the inailabe rights of every man woman and child of every race, and the belief and morality of our God, in all forms, looking upon us with Love. May we continue to chase the dream made reality of creating a place that all mankind may prosper, and live as ONE.

America's 250th (4th of July)with Rev Christine Callaway

Today, our nation marks a truly historic milestone—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Semiquincentennial is a big word, but at its heart, this quarter-millennium birthday is a simple invitation for us to pause, look back with gratitude, and look forward with hope.

​As a community of faith, we approach this milestone with a unique perspective. We give thanks for the profound blessings of liberty, the courage of those who came before us, and the enduring ideals of justice, equality, and community that we strive to live out every day.

​Milestones like this, just like at our 160th celebration a few months ago, are also a beautiful time for reflection. They remind us of our calling to be a beacon of love, peace, and grace in our neighborhoods, continuously working to ensure that the promise of liberty and justice is felt by all.

​Happy 250th, America! May we continue to be a people who love deeply, serve generously, and walk humbly and God Bless America!
