A friendly reminder that Christ Episcopal Church of Aspen is currently on its "shoulder season" schedule, with a Sunday service at 9:00am (Rite II) through the month of May and June 7th. We will return to two services on Sunday, June 14th.

Join us on Sunday, April 19, at 9:00am for a special service in celebration of the Rev. Bill and Kimiko Lupfer and in gratitude for their years in Aspen.

The Rev. Dr. Mark Francisco Bozzuti‑Jones from Trinity Church in New York joins as our guest preacher. A longtime friend of Fr. Bill’s, Mark will join us as we begin to lovingly send Bill off into the sunset and celebrate his remarkable ministry among us. Come ready for inspiration, gratitude, and a beautiful morning of worship. A reception will follow.

Your Homework for the week of Sunday, March 22nd: This week, the keyword is Stewardship.

Stewardship comes from the ancient term styward—a caretaker or manager of resources. It calls to mind the biblical story of the seven fat years and seven lean years, a reminder of the wisdom in setting aside during times of abundance so that we are sustained when seasons of scarcity arrive.

Stewardship invites us to tend faithfully to what we have been given, to plan with gratitude, and to care for our community with foresight and hope.
