First Hopkinton Seventh Day Baptist We are followers of Jesus who study God’s word under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We observe the seventh-day Sabbath for rest and worship.

We seek to share Christ’s message of salvation through personal witness and service. The First Hopkinton Seventh Day Baptist Church is a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Denomination (http://seventhdaybaptist.org/) serving Ashaway, RI and the surrounding area. We meet at 8 Church Street in Ashaway on Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. We also hold Sabbath School classes, similar to Sunday

School, Saturday mornings at 9:45 a.m. All are welcome to join us! Other events will be posted here as they come up. Feel free to call the church office with any questions at 401-377-2123!

A big thank you to everyone who came out for our church work day this past weekend!

Volunteers spent the morning spreading mulch, planting flowers, pulling weeds, and helping make our church grounds look welcoming and beautiful. We are so grateful for the many hands that worked together to care for this place God has entrusted to us.

What if your past doesn’t define your future?

Before he became Paul, he was Saul—
a man who actively persecuted Christians.

He wasn’t just far from God…
he was working against Him.

And then everything changed.

On the road to Damascus, Jesus met him,
transformed him, and gave him a completely new direction.

No one is beyond transformation.

God doesn’t just forgive—He rewrites stories.

Our God is an awesome God! You can never fully comprehend God, but you can know Him. He is the creator of all things in the universe, yet he made you and knows you intimately. He is infinite, but desires a personal relationship with you - so much that He died for us. Will you trust him as your Lord and savior?

🌿 Church Work Day Tomorrow! 🌿

Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM as we work together to spruce up the church grounds for the summer season!

We’ll be:
🌸 Planting flowers
🌱 Spreading mulch
🪴 Pulling weeds
🍃 General outdoor cleanup

Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, many hands make light work. Bring work gloves, gardening tools if you have them, and a willingness to help.
