Let's hear it for the girls! We have been leading the church since its inception! Thanks be to God!

Seventy years ago, the Church recognized what God had already been doing, calling women to preach, teach, lead, and serve. In 1956, women were granted full clergy rights in The United Methodist Church, shaping the life of our communities ever since. 🩷

Today we give thanks for the faithful witness of clergywomen past and present and look ahead with hope for what is still to come.
