Attention Church Family... Make sure you get registered for the Disciple Making Genuis of Jesus Workshop that will be held on Saturday the 12th from 8:00am - 12:30pm... This will be an amazing time of fun and fellowship as we are led through discussions by Bill Allison on our call to discipleship!

WHAT - With a focus on Jesus, we'll explore how to be a disciple - who makes disciples - who make more disciples.

WHEN: Saturday, September 12 from 8:00am - 12:30pm

WHERE: Arthur EFC Johnson Hall

WHO: Anyone interested in learning how to be a disciple of Jesus who makes more disciples of Jesus. All adults, MS/HS students, church staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and pastors are encouraged to join us! (childcare is available upon request) ... Bring your Bible, some friends, and your sense of humor!

Session 1: BE A DISCIPLE... Everything in life will try to pull you off the simplicity of following Jesus together with others.

Session 2: WHO MAKES DISCIPLES... Following Jesus isn't a subject to be mastered, but an infectious way of life that is lived together and shared with others.

Session 3: WHO MAKE MORE DISCIPLES... If those we disciple don't make more disciples, then we haven't made disciples like Jesus.

The mind set on the flesh leads to death – it’s hostile to God. The mind set on the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace. We’re contrasting opposites that lead in opposite directions. The Holy Spirit indwells all believers and He is the guarantee of our future heavenly inheritance.

Romans 8:9 (ESV) -
'You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.'

Join us at OABCIG High School to pray over the start of this school year! Inspire Our Schools is a non-denominational Christian gathering of the community to offer prayers of blessing & dedication over our schools. This year there are 18 school districts participating throughout Iowa and into Wisconsin. We believe our schools — students, parents, teachers, faculty, staff and administration — are in vital need of prayer and we would LOVE for you to join us! This year’s event is being held Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at 6:30PM and the entire community is welcome & encouraged to attend! (There will be gatherings at each OABCIG Campus: Odebolt Elementary & Middle School, Ida Grove Elementary School and at the High School where we will be!)

Thank you to everyone who came out to Moorehead Park this past Sunday evening for the Rock the Parks Faith and Family Night! Our prayer is that you were able to unwind and enjoy wonderful fellowship with great people! A special thanks goes out to Rory, Lindsay, Dan, Troy, Kathi, Jaci, Kim, Rachel, Darin, Keagan, Logan, and Pastor Dave for their hard work and help in making this a great night! I appreciate you all all very much! Also, I want to give a huge shout out to Luke Collins and the Ida County Conservation Board for their collaboration, support, and willingness to allow us access to such a nice park! Well done!
