Lake Church Student Ministry At Lake Church, we are glorifying God and pursuing people. We do that with teenagers every way we know how. Come join us!

The Lake Arlington Student Ministry exists to serve students. We seek to accomplish this by providing opportunities for students to experience community with other students, provide them with things to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and then take the things they have learned and use those to impact the world around them.

Youth Lunch is back! We went on a field trip today too. Chickfila is always a win but the Metroplex Women’s Clinic made the day awesome. We are so thankful for this ministry. They serve thousands of women AND men every year and lead hundreds to Jesus too. It was great to learn more about what they do and how we can be part of it.

Wednesday had no official Midweek, but we found plenty to be busy with. VBS is 5 days away and we got the worship center set this morning. Faith, Lyn, Bella, Anson, Cadence, and Zion all showed up this morning to bring Ireland to the Lake.
Movie Night 2 was also a hit. Spider man and the Sandlot was an interesting combo but it worked! We finished the (sad) NBA finals game and the (GREAT) Rangers game as well.
Tomorrow is gonna be awesome! Youth lunch and a field trip. Don’t miss it!

Movie night 1 is in the books! Apparently we are still recovering from camp because there was much sleep happening. It definitely wasn’t from boring films. We watched Top Gun Maverick and Hail Mary. BONUS…we got to preview the camp highlight reel. Another crew is coming tomorrow. Wonder what they’ll pick?

We are back home and we’re already back to work! Kickball camp and basketball camp both happened today. Josiah Collin and Cy are helping lead that charge.
We started Bible study XL today too. The big reveal is we are dissecting episodes of VeggieTales and digging deep into the stories that are being portrayed. There’s also quite a bit of singing and snacking going on, which is fun.
Finally, we had our first VBS training meeting tonight. It’s gonna be a fantastic week next week getting to serve all those kids and families. We can’t wait!

There’s always something going on. Be sure and get plugged in with this.

Our favorite camp tradition…students praying over one another each night. On the last night, the adults pray over all the students. It’s a PRECIOUS to us time. More meaningful than a 1000 banana boat rides.

We are coming home today! Keep praying for us! We will see you at worship at 11:00 Lake Church!
