Lake Church Student Ministry At Lake Church, we are glorifying God and pursuing people. We do that with teenagers every way we know how. Come join us!

The Lake Arlington Student Ministry exists to serve students. We seek to accomplish this by providing opportunities for students to experience community with other students, provide them with things to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and then take the things they have learned and use those to impact the world around them.

Today has been the prettiest Saturday we’ve had in forever. Kaden, Ella, Elijah, and Abi all took great advantage of it too.
Ella kicked it off, literally, playing some excellent defense. Nobody scored on her side of the field. Kaden was the next game and the dude impressed everyone with how much power is in his kick. His eagles scored 3 goals in the last 5 mins to get a win. Elijah has been injured but he’s a faithful teammate. He’s there each week to film and encourage the flock.
We left the soccer fields and hurried across town to the softball center. Abi and her team put on a show. She was the game winning run! She’s our favorite (and only likeable) Yankee. 😜

We had a great double header tonight! Charlie and Elario celebrated Homecoming with a huge Falcon win. Charlie had 2 TDs. Elario had 1. Both had fantastic stops on.
We left GP and hustled over to Kennedale to see Kelly and the Mustangs. Their resurrecting their football program, and it couldn’t have been more fun to see. Kelly was ALL OVER the field, playing everything from RB to center to kick off returner. Dude isn’t afraid of anything.

Levi told us he was gonna have a great game, and we should come watch. He wasn’t lying. His Lions got a blowout win tonight, and he was a big part of that. He ran the ball. He made tackles. He stopped passes. And he was always the first down the field on kickoff. He wore his war paint for a reason.

MIDWEEK! We had a blast from the past Photo Booth tonight. We found kids camp shirts from the 1900’s and used them to make some new prayer wall pics. We also practiced our gospel sharing skills after we answered some tough questions about death. To live is Christ!

It’s been a crazy awesome Saturday. Rain doesn’t stop you if you’re indoors.

Raddison has a booth at FateCon this weekend. It’s a table top game and cosplay convention in town. She makes some really neat stuff that’s selling fast.

Avaree, Cadence, Lydia, and Becca got to lead worship with Mrs Erin at the women’s dinner tonight.

Kaylee and her Aces got a HUGE win in Burleson. The girl does not quit, nor does she let her teammates and that perseverance and encouragement paid off. She also brought the post game snacks so they doubly love her. 😁

The rain did not start falling till the fourth quarter, and the Rattlers came up short, but Nothing was stopping the powerhouse that is Luke though. He was throwing around defenders tonight like they were Frisbees. He’s absolutely the kind of guy you want protecting you.
