Foundations is our young adult Sunday school class and small group. The class meets every Sunday at 9:15am in Room #208 (second floor) before 10:30am worship.

This class is perfect for college students home for the summer, as well as young couples and families looking for fellowship with others their age! Young children are welcome to join (trust us - we get some great smiles from the current littles that tag along each week!)

If you have questions about this group, please contact Jocelyn Walker, Director of Youth and Young Adults, in the church office. Otherwise, we will see you on Sunday! ✝️

The VBS registry is filling and the donation board will be up and running within the next couple of weeks!

Vacation Bible School would not be possible each year without the generosity of our church family!

For one week each summer, our church is filled with children learning about Jesus, building and strengthening friendships, and experiencing the love of God in a way they'll remember long after VBS ends. While not everyone is called to teach Bible stories, lead recreation, or shepherd kids through their rotations during the week, everyone can play a part in making this experience possible.

The supplies, decorations, crafts, and activities used throughout the week help create an environment where children feel welcomed, excited, and eager to return each day. Those moments of wonder often open the door for conversations about faith that can leave a lasting impact.

On Sunday night, over 90 area students gathered here at St. John’s Christian and at St. Martin’s Lutheran for a full night of fun and faith fellowship!

High school headed to Toledo and middle school out to Fort Wayne for laser tag and arcade games. Both groups returned to the churches and managed to stay up the rest of the night for games, movies, late night chats, and lots of fun chaos 🤪

Big thank you to Jake Keil at St. Martin’s for partnering with us on this event each year, to our church families for allowing youth to use our churches as a safe space to gather together for the night, and a HUGE thank you to our chaperones for helping with driving and facilitating the night! We could not have done this without you.

Now excuse us while we continue to recover from no sleep 😅

6:30am hymn sing to wrap up a 12 hour lock-in with senior high students from our community. We are TIRED but feeling blessed as the sun rises this morning 💛

We will hold one service of worship this Sunday, May 31st at 10am. We will resume our normal worship schedule on Sunday, June 7th.

On Sunday, our church family celebrated as eight youth were confirmed in their faith. It was a special day of celebration and a reminder to all of us of the declarations we make as followers of Jesus - not only to say we believe, but to truly live out that belief each day.

We pray blessings over these eight youth as they continue growing in their relationship with Christ, and we look forward to seeing where God leads them in the years ahead!

This past Sunday, our 8th grade class planned and led both services of worship as their final step before Confirmation in just a few short weeks. They set anxiety aside and shared their faith testimonies with the congregation. It was incredible to witness how deeply these young minds think about their relationship with Jesus Christ and the church!

We pray many blessings over them as they head into Confirmation month 🤍
