Archbold United Methodist Church is a congregation of the United Methodist Church in the West Ohio Conference. At Archbold United Methodist Church, our mission is
to build authentic community where we “Live, Love, and Serve" as we grow in our relationship with God in order to be empowered to introduce others to Christ and transform the world. We value these three simple rules John Wesley taught:

an Acts 2 Church: scripturally sound,

interconnected, and interdependent through small group ministry. Our passion lies in
developing leaders,
creating places for new people,
eliminating poverty, and
improving health globally. Our motto, “Love, Serve, Live,” refers to Jesus’ Great Commandment and also to the Great Commission: “Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself” and “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”

Archbold United Methodist Church is known for its welcoming hospitality, come-as-you-are nature, and opportunity to engage with others. We recognize our need as broken people to be in relationship with God and in relationship with each other. We believe in the living, active Spirit of God that guides, encourages, strengthens, protects, and sustains us in the midst of all of the trials. We follow in the example of Christ, seeking to be His disciples as we reach out beyond the walls of the sanctuary in mission and ministry. We act as the hands and feet of Christ others might know that same saving grace through Jesus and that we might build the Kingdom of God in this place and in this time. We believe that the Bible contains all things necessary for our salvation and is a living book that has life and meaning for every context of time and place.
