First Pentecostal Church Arcadia Church Our church was started in the early 50's after a tent revival conducted by Bro. T.W. Barnes in Arcadia. He is also a National Certified Counselor.

September 2008 we celebrated 55 years of revival in Arcadia. Since May of 2007, FPCA has been pastored by Donnie Underwood and his wife Tanya. They have four children: Shayla, Kyle, Mack and Morgan. Donnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also on the Louisiana American Red Cross State Health Services Committee. s Mental Health Liason for the State of Louisiana. He has traveled the country extensively providing disaster mental health services and teaching disaster related classes. Prior to his appointment as pastor he served as Assistant Pastor for 14 years at FPCA. Prior to serving at FPCA he was the

Singles Minister at Bossier United Pentecostal Church.

Today at FPCA has been a bittersweet day. We have rejoiced and celebrated many baptisms and lives being touched by God, while at the same time, our hearts are heavy with those who are grieving.

We mourn and pray for the Roberson family as a pillar of our church Sister Virgie Roberson passed away this morning. We lift up the Smart family in prayer in the passing of Lillian. We also lift up Sis. Verlene Manuel and the Manuel family in the passing of her brother, Isaac Walker.

Please join the FPCA family in surrounding these 3 families with prayer, love, and support in the days ahead.
