They gave because something in their relationship with God moved them to respond to Him as their Provider.
Giving isn't about checking a box or following a rule. It's a heart response that trains us to trust God with what He's placed in our hands.

Prayer isn't just about getting God to do what we want.
It's relationship. It's surrender. It's bringing our needs before Him while still recognizing, "God, You are God, and I trust Your will."
So here's a question worth asking:
Is prayer our first response or our last resort?
Our prayer life may reveal more about what we believe about God than we realize.

Your pastor is not your Bible.
God has entrusted pastors and teachers with a serious responsibility, but every believer also has a responsibility to know the Word for ourselves.
Listen. Learn. Be teachable. But open your Bible and make sure what you're hearing lines up with Scripture.
Our ultimate authority isn't a platform. It's the Word of God.

Feeling a little lost? Go back to the question that can reorient everything:
Am I following Jesus into this?
When the way forward feels cloudy, we don't have to figure it all out on our own. We go back to Scripture, listen to the Holy Spirit, and fix our eyes on Jesus.
He is the Light of the world. When we don't know the way, we follow the One who does.
