Sunday Worship - We are glad to have you with us today

10/04/2026

Today at Ebenezer, we join Christians around the world in gathering at Christ’s table.

Across nations, cultures, languages, traditions, and denominations, we are reminded that the table does not belong to us; it belongs to Christ. And Christ’s invitation reaches far beyond the walls of any one church.

As we share the bread and the cup today, we celebrate the beautiful truth that we are one body in Christ, connected with sisters and brothers around the world through God’s grace and love.

There is room at the table. There is grace enough for all.

Thanks be to God for the worldwide family of faith!

October is Church Professional Appreciation Month! 🙌 Each week, we're sharing ideas to help your congregation thank the clergy and staff who serve you so faithfully. Here are ideas 1–5:

💌 Host an appreciation card shower. Invite members to send handwritten notes naming something specific they appreciate.

🍽️ Give a restaurant gift card. Make it enough for a meal with a spouse, family member or friend, not just a workday lunch.

🗓️ Plan a surprise day off. Pick a day with them when they can fully disconnect, and make sure someone else covers what needs covering.

🧺 Fill a "We Appreciate You" basket. Add favorite snacks, coffee or tea, books, small gift cards or other things chosen just for them.

📖 Complete the sentence. Ask your congregation to finish "One thing I appreciate about you is…" and collect the answers in a book, box, poster or slideshow.

Which one will your church try? Share in the comments! 👇 Come back next week for more ideas.
