Meet Layla. 💜

Layla spent three years with us at ECU, and along the way, she discovered something she hadn't fully experienced before: a community that challenged her to know Jesus more deeply and live out her faith.

Through one-on-one studies with staff, Girls’ Bible Study, retreats, and opportunities to lead, Layla grew in her understanding of Scripture and found people who were willing to walk alongside her through all the questions.

“I’ve been able to help lead some small groups and Girls’ Bible study, something I never imagined doing when I first came to ECU!”

One of the biggest things she says changed for her? “Now I see the Bible as one big story pointing to Jesus.”

Looking back, she says: “CCF has impacted my life by helping me understand more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him and serve others.”

This is why we are on campus. Not simply to host Bible studies or events, but to walk alongside students as they grow in their faith, discover who Jesus is, and learn to serve others.

Meet Joshua.

Joshua is an international graduate student at NC State who joined CCF one year ago after showing up to Tuesday Bible Study. He connected with the group right away.

Here's what Joshua has to say about the impact CCF has had on his life:
“I went through a dramatic change in my personal life and studies at the end of last summer. Everything around me shifted. I moved to a new place, the people I used to be with were no longer around, and I often felt lonely and uncertain. It was during that time, I found CCF.

Through the messages, small groups, Bible study and new friendships, I began to experience God’s presence and peace again. I realized that even when life feels unstable, God remains constant.

What started as a season of loss became a season of growth.

Finding CCF reminded me that I’m never alone. God has been with me all along and He is amazing.”

Welcome Week was such a blur last week! At UNC, NCSU, UNCW, and ECU--- Campus Christian Fellowship is showing up as students begin a brand-new chapter of their lives!

New campus. New classes. New friendships. New questions.

And in the middle of all that, CCF is there to help students find community, connection, and a place to explore their faith.

From hanging out with new friends to studying the Bible to simply being available on campus, this is what ministry looks like during Welcome Week: showing up and building relationships.

We’re so excited to see what this year holds for students across our campuses!

Welcome to ECU! 💜🏴‍☠️ It’s the first week of college, and if you’re a new student at ECU, there’s a LOT to figure out! Where’s my class? How do I get around this place?!

So CCF was there to help- pointing students in the right direction, and hopefully being a friendly face along the way. And to top it off...

Forty-four students who took time during their very first week of college to come meet CCF, learn more about what we do, and connect with other students.

That is 44 opportunities to build relationships, ask questions, find community, and discover what CCF can be during their college years. What an incredible way to start the semester!!!

Another year in the books for CCF! Here's a look back at some of the true highlights of this year - our students! From brand new Christians, to student leaders, and international students from around the world - CCF is making disciples on campus who impact the world! Thank you so much to the students, parents, churches, alumni, and friends who have partnered with God in the work he's done on campus through CCF this school year.

In 2026 we are celebrating our 50th anniversary! Please keep us in prayer as we gear up over the summer to kick off another year of sharing Jesus on campus and training the next generation of Christian leaders! Let's keep making disciples on campus!
