This summer, we are inviting all 6th-8th grade students to our North Carolina Conference Youth Breakaway Event!
Breakaway is a summer camp for youth hosted by leadership throughout the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Participating youth students get to “break away” from their normal circles, and grow in their faith journey among other students their age. These growth groups are led by our conference youth leaders. Our students will have the opportunity to encounter Christ in a powerful way through several different means, including mission projects, lots of fun games and activities, interest groups to build on students’ individuality, a talent show to be cheered on for their incredible gifts, a dance, chances to make their voice heard in legislative affair sessions, participating in daily worship, and building friendships and community. Our very own, Patrick Rose will be leading worship all week!

Breakaway 2026: You’ve Got a Friend 🤝💙
Breakaway is more than just a week-long event. It’s a place where friendships are formed, faith grows deeper and youth from across the conference come together to worship, laugh, lead, serve, and experience God together.
This summer, we’ll gather June 22–27 at Louisburg College for a week centered around community, connection and learning what it means to “Love Thy Neighbor as Yourself.” Matthew 22:34–39
If you’re in grades 6–12, we want YOU there. Invite your friends, your youth group, or come ready to meet new people from across the NCCUMC. Some of the best friendships start at Breakaway ❤️
