Welcome back to Preschool!

Lord Jesus, please watch over your precious children as they come to school. Keep them safe. Help them to learn not only letters and numbers, but kindness, sharing, and helpfulness. Be with our teachers. Let them share their wisdom and love of you with each of these students. Help our director to guide the program wisely. May this program be one way we share your love with the world. Amen.

What an incredible week we shared at Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School! From June 22–26, our church was filled with joyful singing, laughter, learning, and the love of God as children climbed their own "mountains" of faith through Bible stories, crafts, science, recreation, snacks, and worship.

By the end of the week, they had learned five important lessons to carry with them wherever they go:

-I Can Share My Gifts
-I Can Be Brave
-I Can Give My All
-I Can Pray
-I Can Hope

A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible volunteers, church members, and partner churches, Lake Villa United Methodist church, and St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church, who made this ministry possible. Your time, talents, prayers, and support created a week filled with faith, fun, and unforgettable memories. We can't wait to see what God has in store for next year!

The second Golden Gems Luncheon of 2026 had an amazing turnout! Every table was full! The food was yummy and entertainment was provided by a local brother/sister group who sang show tunes 🙂🎶

VBS Volunteers- Two VBS volunteer meetings are taking place in preparation for our upcoming VBS week! The meetings are Saturday, June 20 at 10 AM and Sunday, June 21 after worship around 11 AM. Both meetings will be in the All Saints Room and will cover the same information. Please attend whichever works best for your schedule. Thank you!
