God has given you everything you need—but you still have to grow.

In I Am the Way Pt. 3, Pastor Kevin Hope continues the series with a challenge to “work out your salvation.” Salvation through Christ is complete; nothing can be added to what Jesus has provided. But as believers, we are called to respond to God’s promises and intentionally mature in our faith.

2 Peter 1 teaches us to add to our faith: moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, patient endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love.

The more these qualities grow in us, the more useful and fruitful we become in our knowledge of Christ.

God has supplied it. Now we have to walk it out.

Sometimes the biggest distraction isn’t what’s happening around you, it’s what’s taking your attention away from God. 🙏🏾

Life can get loud. Responsibilities pile up. Worry creeps in. And before you know it, your focus has shifted from the One who has been holding you the entire time.

Today, bring your attention back to Him.

Not the problem.
Not the pressure.
Not what you can’t control.

Focus on God. 💜

Because when everything around you feels uncertain, He is still faithful. He is still present. And He is still God.

You don’t have to deliberately leave God to drift away from Him.

In I Am the Way Pt. 2, Pastor Kevin Hope teaches from Hebrews 2 that one of the greatest dangers to our spiritual lives is not always active rebellion—it’s passive neglect.

Like a ship that slowly drifts past the harbor, we can move away from where God wants us simply because we stopped paying close attention.

Why do we only ask "What have I done?" AFTER the mistake is already made? 💭

Lust doesn’t mean God is gone—it eclipses Him in the moment. When temptation takes over, standard reasoning gets blurred until the regret sets in. Stay guarded, stay aware, and don't let a momentary shift cloud your vision. 🙏🏽
