It's Day 2 of our Initiate Conference! Are you ready? We love these weekends where we spend extra time together, learning from God's Word and discovering how we can glorify Him in all of life! Whether you can join us at our conference or not, we hope to see you tomorrow for our Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:30am to sing, hear from God's Word, and learn more about what it means to follow Jesus. Join us for our annual Golden Hills Art Exhibition on September 26! You will enjoy original visual art, poetry, food art, and music, created by artists from our church and inspired by the book of Ecclesiastes. Come behold art, hear artists’ insights about their creative process, and engage with others. This family-friendly event includes workshops on visual art, songwriting, and why beautiful aesthetics are part of our calling, plus refreshments and the opportunity to participate in a hands-on art activity.

Early Bird sign-ups (by September 13) include the opportunity to add a limited-edition art book and lunch.

Ladies, please join us for our Fall Women's Bible Study, meeting weekly on Tuesdays, September 1 through November 17. You may request a morning (9:00-11:00am) or evening group (6:30-9:00pm).

Together, we will explore Psalms 120-134 using the book, "The Psalms of Ascent: Journey to Joy", by Lydia Brownback. During this session, our Golden Hills Women’s Bible Study teaching team will help you reflect upon God’s character, gospel connections, and key themes of worship, thanksgiving, trust, and joy in all seasons of life. Through at-home study, large-group teaching, and small-group discussion, we will find wisdom, beauty, and hope in these Psalms that voice our joys and fears as we journey toward our heavenly home.

Register by 9/1 on our website. $12 covers the cost of your workbook.

Do you come to church on Sunday, but still feel like you haven’t found your community? Maybe you’ve wanted to join a small group, but your week is
already full. Maybe you’re newer to Golden Hills and aren’t sure where to start. Or maybe you’ve been attending for a while but simply haven’t gotten connected yet.

Starting Sunday, September 6, we’re launching our new Sermon-Based Fellowship Groups. Attend the 8:30am service, then stay from 10:30am–12:00pm to dig deeper into the sermon, ask questions, pray, and learn together.

Our Student Ministries Small Groups start up THIS WEEK!

- Middle School (MSM) Grades 6-8 gather on Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30pm.

- High School (HSM) Grades 9-12 gather on Thursdays from 7–9pm.

A few reasons why Student Ministries Small Groups are worth attending? Small Groups are the best way for teenagers to get to know other students and grow in faith together. We believe that God’s Word is always relevant and ought to be held as the authority in all areas of our lives. Our small group leaders consist of mature, godly men and women who desire to disciple students.

Our Initiate Conference is THIS WEEKEND! Register today and join us on August 28 & 29 for 2 days of learning and growing together.

What does it really mean to be human? Scripture teaches that we are creatures made in God’s image, called to live for his glory in every area of life. Yet sin has distorted our relationship with God, ourselves, others, and the world around us. At this year’s Initiate Conference, we will explore how the gospel restores true humanity through Jesus Christ. Through main sessions and practical breakout sessions, we will consider how Christ’s redemption shapes everyday life—from marriage and discipleship to work, culture, and the life of the mind—so that we might live faithfully as God’s people in his world. So join us for this year’s Initiate Conference: All of Christ for All of Life: recovering a biblical vision of humanity.

This fall, Golden Hills Community Church is launching Sermon-Based Fellowship Groups—a place to connect the truth of God’s Word with meaningful Christian community. Join us Sundays at 10:30am after the 8:30 service for conversation, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual growth as we discuss the sermon, encourage one another, and grow together in Christ.

Are you a woman looking to learn more about God, His Word, and His Church? Do you yearn to walk alongside other women, growing in Christlikeness and genuine community?

If so, the leaders of Women’s Ministry would like to meet you! We want to welcome you and help connect you with other women at Golden Hills. No matter your age, ethnicity, or life stage, you’re invited to our Bible studies and gatherings throughout the year. Our goal is for strangers to become friends, and friends to become family.
