What a wonderful day in the Lord. Glory be to God. Thank you Nathan Walker for sharing God’s word with us this morning.
❤️ WHAT IS YOUR IDENTITY IN JESUS? ❤️
Today’s message from John 21:15–17
Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” And each time, Jesus gave him a purpose: “Feed my sheep.”
Peter had failed Jesus. He had denied Him. Yet Jesus didn’t define Peter by his failure.
Jesus reminded Peter who he was and what he was called to do.
How often do we allow our past mistakes, failures, labels, disappointments, or the opinions of others to define who we are?
But our identity is not found in what we’ve done.
It’s not found in what others say about us.
It’s not found in our failures, our past, or our circumstances.
Our identity is found in Jesus. ✝️
You may have fallen, but you are not finished.
You may have failed, but you are not a failure.
You may have wandered, but you can still come home.
You may have a past, but God still has a purpose for your life.
Peter’s story reminds us that Jesus can restore the broken, redeem the past, and still give us a purpose.
So may we ask ourselves:
Who am I in Jesus?
Am I living like I am forgiven?
Am I walking in the purpose He has given me?
Am I willing to love Him and “feed His sheep”?
Because Jesus isn’t just calling us to know Him…He’s calling us to follow Him, love Him, and serve others. ❤️
