A wonderful day appreciating our Pastors last Sunday. Thank you, Pastors John Paul and Christian. Also, we appreciate your wives, Ivy and Jhseany, and kids, Hesed and Hanniel, respectively.

We were blessed to have Pastor Solomon Reyes as well, our former pastor, together with his family. Praise God for His kingdom shepherds. To God be the glory!

UCBC Women of Praise Fellowship last Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Rice’s residence.

‘Twas a wonderful sight how they continue to grow in God’s Word, encourage one another, strengthen one another’s faith, and mature together in Christ. May each Bible study draw them closer to God and to one another.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18

Also, thanks for Greg who graciously accommodated the Men (the drivers ☺️☺️) as they wait for their wives. Praise God for this loving community.

A blessed day, church!

Unfortunately, we need to postpone our Family Picnic Day that was supposedly scheduled tomorrow (September 26) due to Nor’easter storm.

The rescheduled date is still to be determined since we need to make some calls and do reservations.

For now, the council has prudently decided to encourage everyone to stay at home with your family for everyone’s safety and protection. Thank you for understanding.

Also, one of our primary goals for our Family Picnic is to gather a church-wide fellowship to revamp and encourage our small groups and Bible studies. Let us continue praying for commitment for discipleship as we grow together in our faith in Christ—embodying our anniversary theme “toward a disciple-making church.”

UCBC’s Pathway Leadership Institute - Small Group Leaders Track (Empower Class)

Sis. Charina Grino, one of our deacons, facilitated a topic about “The Art of Spiritual Leadership” for small group leaders. Her three goals were to raise awareness that the church has potential leaders, challenge them to step up, and encourage them to lead.

She said: “Having the ‘HE’ in the ‘ART’ of leading is what we truly need. A heart in leading that comes from God.”

Grateful for the attendance and the discussions within the church members on how to apply it practically in our small groups. (August 16, 2026, at UCBC Allerton, Annandale, NJ).
