🐾❤️ **National Dog Day — August 26th!** ❤️🐾

If you have a dog, you already know… they aren’t *just* pets. They become family. 🐶❤️

They greet us when we come home, keep us company on the hard days, make us laugh at the silliest things, and somehow manage to find a way into our hearts—and our favorite spots on the couch! 😂

Many of our church family have a dog (or two!), and we know just how much these four-legged members of our families mean to us.

We also know the heartache of saying goodbye. Earlier this year, we lost our sweet Ajax to cancer after almost **10 wonderful years** together. We miss him dearly, but we are so thankful for every moment, every memory, and every bit of love he brought into our lives. 🐾💔❤️

So today, whether your dog is beside you, waiting for you at home, or forever in your heart, take a moment to be thankful for the joy and companionship they’ve brought into your life.

🐶 **Give your pup an extra treat, an extra scratch, and maybe let them have the good spot on the couch today.** 😉

Happy **National Dog Day** from our church family! 🐾❤️

🌿 **National Relaxation Day — August 15th** 🌿

Life gets busy. Work, responsibilities, family, errands, and everything in between can leave us feeling like we’re always “on.”

So today is a good reminder to **slow down, breathe, and rest.** ❤️

Take a little time to enjoy a quiet moment, spend time with someone you love, sit outside, take a walk, read your Bible, pray, or simply be still.

And remember—rest isn’t something we have to feel guilty about. Jesus Himself invites us to come to Him when we are weary:

✨ *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”* — Matthew 11:28

May we remember that sometimes the most productive thing we can do is **pause and let God refresh our hearts and souls.** 🙏🌿

💚 **Happy National Relaxation Day!**

💙💗 **National Son & Daughter Day — August 11th!** 💗💙

August 11th is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the sons and daughters God has blessed us with! 🥰

Whether they’re little or grown, near or far, our children are precious gifts and a blessing worth celebrating. ❤️

Take a moment this week to let your son or daughter know how much you love them—and, most importantly, **pray for them and remind them that God loves them even more.** 🙏

“Children are a gift from the Lord.” — Psalm 127:3

💙💗 **Happy National Son & Daughter Day!** 💗💙

☀️ **Happy Sunday, church family!** ❤️

Have you ever wondered, *“What does God want me to do with my life?”*

This morning’s message is **“Discovering God’s Will for Your Life.”**

📖 **Scripture: Romans 12:2**

God has a purpose for each of us, but discovering His will isn't always about having every answer or knowing exactly what comes next. Sometimes it begins with allowing God to transform the way we think, learning to recognize His direction, and trusting Him enough to follow where He leads.

Join us this morning as we look at what Scripture teaches about discovering God's will and how we can become more intentional about seeking His direction for our lives.

Whatever season of life you're in, **God has a purpose for you—and He wants you to know Him and walk in His will.** ❤️

🕊️ **Sunday Worship Service — 10:30 a.m.**

We'd love to have you worship with us! Come as you are, bring a friend, and let's grow together in God's Word. 🙏

*"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will."*

💛 Church Family, We Need Your Input!

We’ve put together a short survey about upcoming church events and activities, and we’d really love for every member of our church family to take a few minutes to complete it.

This isn’t just about deciding what night works best for everyone or choosing which activities sound fun. It’s about helping us figure out how we can grow together as a church family.

Our goal is to create opportunities for us to:

✝️ Spend more time together
📖 Deepen our knowledge and understanding of God’s Word
❤️ Grow in our relationship with Jesus
🤝 Build stronger relationships with one another
🙏 Encourage, serve, pray, and worship together
🌱 Create a church where people want to belong, participate, and grow

And honestly, this matters for the future of our church.

A church doesn’t stay healthy simply because the doors are open on Sunday morning. A healthy church is made up of people who are willing to show up, invest in one another, grow in their faith, and take part in the life of the church.

We are a small church, which means every person matters. Every voice matters. Every willingness to participate matters.

We want to plan things that people will actually be able and willing to participate in—not simply make plans and hope people come. That’s why your honest answers on this survey are so important.

Please take a few minutes to complete it, even if you aren’t sure you can participate in everything. Your answers will help us make better decisions about where we go from here.

This is our church family. ❤️
Let’s build something together that helps us know Christ more deeply, love one another more intentionally, and be the church God has called us to be.

Please take the survey and let your voice be heard!
The survey is anonymous by request.

Thank you for being part of our church family. We truly need each other. ❤️🙏

We'd love to hear from you! As we seek to grow together as a church family, we're exploring opportunities to deepen our faith, build stronger relationships, and serve our community. This short survey will help us better understand your interest in potential ministries and events such as small groups...

Good morning, church family! ❤️

This week's message is **"Peace Through Submission."**

📖 **Scripture:** *1 Peter 5:5–7*

In a world that tells us to take control, prove ourselves, and carry every burden alone, God's Word gives us a different path. Peter reminds us to clothe ourselves with humility, submit ourselves to God, and cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.

True peace isn't found in controlling every circumstance—it's found in trusting the One who is in control.

If you've been carrying heavy burdens, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need the encouragement of God's Word, we'd love for you to join us as we discover the peace that comes from humble surrender to the Lord.

Everyone is welcome. Come worship with us and be encouraged! ❤️
