Violinist, Jamie Jorge inspired everyone who attended the “Healing Music” Concert on May 30th. The Andover SDA Church was part of his current concert tour. Growing up in Cuba, Jamie shared the experiences of divine intervention that shaped his life and his career in music ministry. He has trekked over 7 million miles touring across 6 continents with his message of hope and blessing. Students from the Anoka Adventist Christian School, accompanied by Teacher Tralese Syvertson, presented several vocal selections ahead of Jamie’s performance. Pastor Jim Moon collaborated with Jamie during two crowd-pleasing songs. The two established a friendship during Jim’s previous pastoral position in Jamie’s home base of Tennessee.

Come for the music...and stay for the message. A variety of choral ensembles enliven Sabbath worship. Rumor has it that a newly formed Children's Choir will soon be joining the service lineup. According to Pastor Ingrid Moon, the current sermon series for the next few seeks is based on the book of Isaiah. Enjoy a monthly Fellowship Dinner every second Sabbath. Men's Ministries hosts a popular Men's Breakfast each third Sabbath. Everyone is invited to join Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting on Zoom. These kids love to sing! And the AACS Children's Choir shared their passion for music during the March 7th CONCERT & MUSIC FAIR at the Andover SDA Church. The concert was followed by a display board presentation assembled by each student detailing an aspect of music that was meaningful to them. In addition, the students offered house plants for sale, that they studied and nurtured all school year.

The students of Anoka Adventist Christian School will be sharing their love of music on March 7th during a concert followed by an informational Music Fair and House Plant Fundraiser. Activities start at 6:00 PM at the Andover SDA Church 15036 Round Lake Blvd., Andover MN.

“WHEN YOU MEET JESUS, YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.” This theme ran throughout the February 20-22 “HIDDEN TREASURES" EXPERIENCING GOD Revival Series at Andover SDA Church. International speaker, Pastor Jean-Noel Adeline, graciously made room in his full schedule as chaplain/teacher at Weimar University and the NEWSTART Lifestyle Center in California to present a six-part seminar in Andover. Pastor Jean-Noel expressed his burden for “individuals growing up in the church and not growing up in Christ.”
Series sessions were designed to guide participants to seek “HIDDEN TREASURES” in scripture (based on Matthew 13:44). He described a three-phase transition of becoming a BELIEVER - having an awareness of truth, but not spiritual rebirth. Growing into a CHRISTIAN - who has repented and received Christ as Savior, yet is still maturing in faith. The final session, “Bearing Fruit Unto Salvation” describes a life of willing and joyful DISCIPLESHIP - as one who submits to Christ as Lord and calls upon the Holy Spirit daily to live a life that reflects Christ’s character.
A Children’s Program was held during each of the sessions. Volunteers provided Friday evening and Sabbath meals and snacks during the series.

The Andover SDA Church Fellowship Hall was recently transformed into an Italian Restaurant for one night in February. The Voyagers Pathfinders Club held the 2nd Annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser, with Pathfinders Leader, Suzanne Erkel, coordinating the dinner, silent auction and numerous door prize drawings. Pathfinders, some mysteriously sporting mustaches, helped with the setup and acted as servers, along with providing entertainment.

"Encountering Christ and His Kingdom" is the opening night message at our Experiencing God Revival Series - to be presented on Friday, February 20 - beginning at 7:00 PM (note the revised starting time). Come at 6:00 PM to take part in a Potluck Soup and Salad Super. The series runs from February 20-22 and the individual sessions are listed below.
