Today was our first Sunday of JAM “Jesus and Me”. Brooke and Hunter told and showed the story of Creation. Through storytelling and self-directed reflection, Gloria Dei children will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of church community alongside the core Bible stories. Parents and senior members of Gloria Dei are encouraged to join Sunday JAM to volunteer as storytellers.

The Listening Post is offering a new volunteer training on September 12, 2026 from 1-4pm. We believe in the power of just listening, as when we share what is on our heart and mind, often our own clarity surfaces. In September we will celebrate our 18th anniversary of listening in Anchorage. We invite you to visit our website to learn more about us. www.listeningpostanchorage.com and if you feel called to volunteer with us, contact us for more information about joining our next training. We are an awesome group of volunteers honored to confidentially listen to our guests at listening sites all over Anchorage.

Congratulations to William and his family being honored today on his graduation with a senior quilt made by the Gloria Dei Piecemakers. William’s family was very involved from selecting the fabrics with each piece holding a special meaning and participating in all stages of making the quilt. May God’s blessing be with you, William, as you embark on the next stage of your life.
