Our takeaway: This week, practice interdependence. Honor the gifts and work of others. Offer what you have. Receive what others bring. And wherever the world draws lines between “us” and “them,” look for faithful ways to cross those boundaries with humility, curiosity, and love.

“Take up your cross and follow me...” to follow Jesus away from our instinct toward self-preservation and more deeply into the self-giving way of love. That’s the way Jesus himself walks, all the way to, and through the cross.

Our first - but not last - Play on the Porch is done, but the memories will last. The weather was amazing; the food really good; the music energizing, but the community was the best! So good to join in with Anacortes Singing Resistence! Music brought together people from across the city. Thank you to all who came.
