We are a couple of Christians seeking to find like-minded believers to plant a church in the Alturas area. Our intent is to build a core group of believers that will be able to call and support a full-time pastor to ministry here in the near future. Those currently involved in this endeavor are not seeking to be the pastor(s) of this church plant. We are hoping to find like-minded believers in the following areas:

* Desire for a historical-grammatical hermeneutic in interpreting Scripture
* Reformed in soteriology
* Premillennial in eschatology
* Elder rule in ecclesiology
* Devotion to an essentially literal English translation of the Bible (such as the NASB, ESV, and LSB)
* Commitment to verse-by-verse preaching
* Holds to the authority, sufficiency, and inerrancy of Scripture as the sole authority of the church
* Cessationist view of charismatic gifts
* Willingness to come under the leadership of an established church
* Desire to call a highly qualified seminary-trained pastor who holds to all of the above areas of doctrine
