Why does this common phrase keep circulating in the church? There is a strong correction here regarding the popular, yet biblically inaccurate, idea that loved ones become angels after they pass away. It challenges the bad theology surrounding the afterlife, reminding viewers that being redeemed by Christ offers something far greater than wings. Instead of focusing on becoming celestial beings, this perspective highlights the inheritance of a glorified body on a new earth. Time to rethink what is being taught and embrace a more sound understanding of eternity.
