BABY BASKETS!

For years, prior to the pandemic, our congregation always welcomed new babies to our church family with a basket of small gifts. We are resurrecting that happy tradition as we have exciting news about three new babies arriving this summer and fall! The first baby is expected very soon…Lauren Sral and her husband are expecting their little one in mid-June. The basket for the Srals is marked and is in the narthex. We hope to soon have it filled with items, such as gift cards, disposable diapers, bibs, booties and other small gifts. You need not wrap your gift.Be sure to look for future announcements about the other babies we want to welcome with gift baskets, too! If you are aware of any expected new babies, please contact Suzy Egan Glenn at [email protected] or 814-941-0950.

THE BIBLE STUDY/COFFEE HOUR IS BACK!

We will meet after 9:30-10:30 am worship beginning April 12.

The Gospel of John weaves the story and words of Jesus around seven miracles which John calls signs. Everyone is welcome to join us as we explore these miracles and see them as signs of seven remarkable qualities of life that can enable us to be more alive than ever!

Thank you to Elaine Mallory for volunteering to lead this Bible Study.

SPREAD A LITTLE SUNSHINE..JOIN OUR CONNECTION TEAM!

Do you have a gift for gab and a heart for our church family? We're looking for friendly voices to help us reach out and reconnect with members we haven't seen in a while! It's amazing how much a simple, "Hey, we've missed you! How are you doing?" can brighten someone's entire week. Whether you have fifteen minutes or an hour to spare, your phone calls help ensure that no one in our community feels forgotten.

Why You'll Love It:
Flexible: Make calls from the comfort of your own couch.
Impactful: Be the bridge that brings someone back into the fold.
Simple: No script-reading required—just genuine conversation and a warm spirit.

"A kind word is like a spring day." — Lets be that breath of fresh air for our neighbors!

Ready to help?
If you're interested in joining this heart-centered mission, please call or text Vicki Houseman at 814-934-8962. We can't wait to have you on the team!
