Thank you everyone who came to out combined outdoor service yesterday!

Thank you to Pastor Paul Gregersen and the Revelation UMC Youth Band for leading and sharing your talents during the service. Thank you also to everyone who made food, brought items, or bought water to support the event. Also thank you to Vista Royalle for allowing us to use their shelter and supplying us with many items we needed.

God surely blessed us with great weather on Sunday and may God continue to bless all of us everywhere we and and in everything we do.

A reminder that we'll be having a combined service at Vista Royalle in Bancroft on Sunday at 10 AM followed by a community potluck at 12 AM. Hope to see you there!

This coming Sunday (8/30/26)- Plainfield UMC and Almond UMC will being having a combined service at Vista Royalle Campgrounds in Bancroft. There will a backpack blessing ceremony for the students who are going back to school. After service there will also be a community potluck lunch afterwards.

Pastor Paul Gregersen will be our special guest speaker that day along with the Revelation UMC praise and worship band from Wausau.

This coming Sunday we're going to discuss another question that some people may have - does God control or know the future? We'll dive into the Bible and see what it says and what we can learn about God's role in our lives.

Jesus once asked - "Who is my brother and sister?". These terms and other terms like "family" are usually used to describe our relationship with God and other humans (past, present, and future). But who are our brothers and sisters? Is it just a name that Christians can use for everyone or only a select few? This Sunday (8/2/26) we're going look into that and hopefully gain some new insights on who are are brothers and sisters in Christ.

We are doing a blessing of the backpacks during our outdoor service on August 30th! Please bring your child's (or maybe even your backpack) to have it blessed before the school season begins! :)

Yesterday was a very special day as we congratulated our confirmation students on finishing their class. The whole service was created by the students and turned out great. Thank you to all the all that were involved - Esther and Cathy who assisted Pastor Yang throughout the classes, all the mentors, all the guest that partook in the class, and even the Lenten services and various churches that support our class. Of course we'd like to thank both Plainfield and Almond UMC for your support and providing us a space to have these classes. We blessed! Over all, we would like to thank God for allowing us to grow in our faith and understanding together. It was a wonderful experience and we were all shown the goodness and love of God. Amen.
