Response of a fellow worshipper to my announcement this morning of cancelling service due to the blizzard. Wow and amen!:

“The indoor service may not be happening but His majesty is on stunning display outdoors! The beautiful snowy silence early, followed by the sound of nature’s snare drum in the freezing rain, accompanying the rich deep sound of rolling thunder with the occasional crack for emphasis. The freshest clean smelling air fills my lungs and makes the simple act of breathing a special treat. The beauty of the snow covered land leaves me in awe when I consider that God created each snowflake in detail just as He has created us and has His perfect plan for each of us.
So while I may miss watching the message from indoor church today, outdoor church has filled my spirit and caused me to rejoice in the wonder of it all.
