Weekend Minder - FAMILY DAY is this Sunday 8/30

Good afternoon, I hope you are having a good week! Guess what this Sunday is - the day we have been praying and planning for, Family Day 2026!

Please note there is no bulletin or handout for Sunday's outdoor service.

Schedule is...
11am worship service
Noon Lunch for all
1:30 Mister Softee - free regular cone or cup, includes sprinkles, flavors are vanilla, chocolate, or twist. You may also get a popsicle if you'd like!

* Between things there will be volleyball, 9 square, corn hole, play set, soccer, bball, and lots of time for fellowship and meeting others!

Here are some notes to keep in mind...

- The service will begin as close to 11am as possible and will feature some opening comments & prayer, special music, a testimony, and a short Bible message.

- The church will be accessible and bathroom facilities!

- Dress is casual as we will be outdoors for all activities.

Continue in prayer and look to invite others as there is still time!

TBC Weekend Minder - August 21st

Dear church family and friends of TBC,

What a beautiful summer Friday today!

Another Sunday is fast approaching; it always seems that excitement builds for me as the Lord's Day approaches. Make every effort to really maximize the day for the Lord's glory. Join us for Sunday School at 9:45 and then in the morning service I will speak from Ruth on "Put Away Bitterness." There will also be congregational testimonies and a report from Gary Rasmussen on the recent FFBC annual conference.

* If you can bring whatever items you signed up to bring for the Family Day on Sunday, that would be great.

Other notes:
- Be in prayer for parents and young people prepping for a new school year.

- Remember that there are no evening services for August.

- If you are interested in believer's baptism by immersion, let Pastor know.

TBC Weekend Minder - August 14

Dear church family and friends,

Greetings to you all on this Friday! This upcoming Sunday is Anna's last Sunday at TBC as she is returning to Bob Jones University on Tuesday of next week. She will be a sophomore and continue her studies in Child Development. In light of this, we are going to do hymn favorites in the morning service. Should be a blessing.

In the morning service, I will preach a message on "An Important Pilgrim Mentality" and there will be special music plus congregation testimonies.

Other notes:
- Be in prayer for parents and young people prepping for a new school year.

- Remember that there are no evening services for August.

- If you are interested in believer's baptism by immersion, let Pastor know.

TBC Weekend Minder - August 7

Dear church family and friends of TBC,

What a week! We really enjoyed our time this week up at Tri-State Bible Camp for the FFBC annual conference. We got home yesterday afternoon!

I am eagerly looking forward to our time together, around the Word, in song, in prayer, and in praise of our God this upcoming Sunday. Be sure to attend! Come ready, come prayed up, come with a guest!

We have Sunday School at 9:45 - classes for all ages! For the 11am service I will preach from Matthew 13 on "Hear the Parable of the Mustard Seed." We will learn/sing a new hymn and have congregational testimonies! Should be a great service.

- Most of August is quiet for us but be in prayer for parents and young people prepping for a new school year.

Weekend Minder - July 31st

Dear church family and friends of TBC,

Church Volleyball is on for tonight at 6pm. We will have snow cones and water for all. Join us for a time of fun, fellowship, laughs, and competition!

As we look ahead to Sunday, be sure to join us for Sunday School at 9:45; we have classes for all ages. For the morning service, we observe the Lord's Table, sing, share testimonies, and I will bring a message on "Christ-The Perfect Suffering Servant."

Other notes:
- As a reminder, there are no evening services for the month of August.

- Volleyball night is tonight at 6pm!

- There is no prayer meeting on August 5th due to the FFBC conference at Tri-State Bible Camp.

Good morning church family and friends,

Consider this quote from the great prince of preachers, Charles Spurgeon. May such be true of TBC!

Join us tonight at 7 for our midweek prayer meeting. I will share a short devotional and then spend the remainder of our time in prayer in small groups interceding, praising, and petitioning our great God. He is delighted to hear from us!

TBC Weekend Minder - July 24

Dear church family and friends,

Good morning to you all! My family and I have enjoyed our time away and will be in Virginia for a Bible Quizzing tournament and then be home tomorrow night.

As we look ahead to Sunday, make sure you come out for a great time of worship, fellowship, and biblical instruction. In the morning service, I will preach from Ezekiel on "A False Promise of Life and Hope."

Other notes:

- As a reminder, there are no evening services for the months of July and August.

- The Semi annual membership meeting this Sunday (7/26) right after the morning service.

- The next Volleyball night is July 31st. Snow cones provided; invite many others!
