Happy Labor Day from Maranatha!

Today, we pause to honor the value of hard work and the people whose dedication helps strengthen our families, workplaces, churches, and communities.

Whether your work happens in an office, a classroom, a hospital, a business, at home, or wherever God has placed you, may you always remember that there is purpose in serving others with excellence.

And after the work...there is also a time for rest.

Did you know the word Maranatha carries a powerful message of faith and hope?

Maranatha means “Our Lord, come!” 🙏🏽

Found in 1 Corinthians 16:22, this beautiful Aramaic expression was used by early Christians as a declaration of their faith and their longing for the return of Jesus.

So when we say Maranatha, we are saying more than the name of our church. We are proclaiming what we believe and what we are looking forward to...

Jesus is coming again!

That’s a pretty powerful name to carry!

They’re learning, laughing, building friendships, making memories and discovering that church is a place where they are known, loved and valued.

At Maranatha, we believe some of the most meaningful ministry happens in the moments you don’t always see from the pews. It happens in the conversations, the laughter, the encouragement and the relationships being built along the way.

YOUTH DAY IS COMING TO MARANATHA!

Get ready for a Sabbath filled with FAITH, FUN, WORSHIP and INSPIRATION!

This Saturday, September 5, our young people are taking center stage for a special Youth Day Service featuring XPM Puppets & Mimes! Through powerful puppetry, mime and creative ministry, they will share messages designed to inspire, uplift and encourage the entire family.

This is not just for the youth. Everyone is invited! Bring the children, invite your family, call your friends and come experience worship like never before!

Sometimes God teaches us through a sermon. Sometimes through a season. Sometimes through a person, a closed door, an unexpected blessing, or even a prayer that has not been answered yet.

“Something better” is God’s promise for every new day.

Sometimes we look for God only in the big breakthroughs... but He is also present in the quiet progress, the changed perspective, the unexpected strength, and the peace we didn’t have yesterday.

You may not be where you thought you would be by now... but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

This week, pay attention to the small evidence of His hand.

A door opening.
A burden feeling lighter.
Wisdom arriving at just the right time.
The courage to try again.

God is still writing your story... and there is more ahead.

Walk into this week expecting Him to be God.
