These are BOLD men right here... 1 Corinthians 6:13, "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."

These are just two of the men’s small groups happening throughout the week. How encouraging to see so many men gathered to encourage and challenge one another to grow closer to Christ. Each one of these guys would tell you they aren’t anywhere near perfect and they are grateful for their fellow brothers.

This week’s Mental Health Seminar on Wednesday Night will address the issue of anxiety. Understanding Anxiety will be taught by Vickie Thompson, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), local Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with a Master’s Degree in Education. Vickie will give an overview of disorders related to anxiety, explain a variety of coping tools and help the participants walk away with a better understanding of how to approach anxiety personally, as well as when interacting with others. Join Vickie and others for this engaging seminar at 6:00 p.m. in room A214.

On Sunday, Calvary's Associate Pastor Todd Strain began a new sermon series on book of Daniel... check out this incredible message on "The Kingdom" where we as Children of God live in "the opponents stadium" and are called to live in Alignment to the Kingdom as well as to Advance the Kingdom. All the while we live with the promise that no matter how much the odds seem to be stacked against The Kingdom, we live with the promise that we will, against all odds, witness the comeback victory of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
